"We are in a national educational crisis and it’s going to require all of us working together in order to make a change"
It is the view of Empowering Parents and Families that the achievement gap cannot be closed without closing the parent engagement gap. We are in a national educational crisis and it’s going to require all of us working TOGETHER in order to make a change. EP&F uses music, poetry, “reality statistics” and real life solutions to help parents and families take back control of their households while ensuring educational success for their children. We reach parents where they are and help them understand that “children need our presence more than our presents.” In addition, EP&F helps educators understand the importance of bridging the parent/school divide while motivating youth to reach their potential in order to make their educational dreams become a “reality.”
